Genting Highland Holiday

I went to Genting Highland for a holiday in October 2010 with my wife, but the holidays were not as satisfying as I wanted. First of all there were too many people (my wife's sister and brother) around, so we rarely have any personal time. Then when comes to money issues, seems everyone is not really willing to pay for meals. We also have different point of interest, my wife wanted to visit the temple, while the sister n brother inlaw wanted to shop around. Then we need to take care of the sister in law coz she doesn't have a proper sweater to wear.

This was the worst holiday I ever had in my life. The whole journey was not smooth as well. First of all, the van that is supposed to pick us up didnt turn-up, we need to call several times before the driver arrange another driver to pick us. When coming back, we need to arrange again for drivers. And the fees are RM20.00 higher than expected. The journey back also late because the driver missed a drop point and need to turn back. We reached home at about 10pm !!

Colleagues At The Job

My new job at Yoonsteel is a little boring. The audit team from deloitte just left, and I've discovered some serious problem lying within the accounting records.

Working here lets me learn that there is always a line between friends and colleagues. It's hard to be friend with some colleagues as crashes may always happen during working hours. Some of the elder staff even openly commentting someone else without fearing that would hurt someone's feeling.

Everyone here seems nice to each other, but I can feel that actually each of them don't like each other at all...so sarcastic !!

Life

Lots of things happened recently. My wife is complaining about not having a satisfying life: Zi Wen don't follow her, me not good enough and she wants to go for a holiday, etc....

Yesterday my wife bought tickets for Jeff Chang concert at Genting. Hopefully we will enjoy the concert. Me myself also hoping for a relaxing holiday.

My sister moved to stay at Penang 2 weeks ago. Feel abit sad to see her leaving. She found a new job after 2 days staying there. At least she is happy and doesn't need to worry about her financial constraints at Penang.

Car CD Player Stolen !!!

My car CD player was stolen, when I parked my car outside my office. The bastard broke my car door window, get inside my car and stole my CD player !!

I was so angry and feeling sad, since that player was my very first CD player and I like it so much!!

It took me RM 90 to fix the window, RM 20 to fix back my original cassette player.

After 2 weeks, I fixed a new MP3 player to my car, replacing the cassette player. In the same time I changed my 6 x 9 speakers which already spoilt, all cost RM305.00

Better Situation

Already in the new job for 1 month plus. So far so good, at the moment everyone is giving co-operation to me. Even though there are some difficulties sometimes, but still managable.

The current company is ok, financially... at least I get my pay on time. Initially the co. overlooked about my petrol allowance, but after I told them, they paid the money in the following month.

My financial situation is also better now, since the salary is higher than Chip Lam Seng Bhd.

Sometimes I still feeling angry thinking about after I tender my resignation in CLSB only the boss gave me an increment. Even though the CLSB was financially unstable, but giving a small increment to the staffs would be neccessary, since there were no increment for 2 years.

New Job, New Beginning..

I started my new job at Yoonsteel on 06/05/2010, one week earlier than the original date.

I got my own room, new PC, with a 22" monitor. The office table is not really good.

There are 3 "senior" staff, each of them work for more than 30 years in Yoonsteel, my presense in the department seems like a threat to them. I think all of them scare some day I'll take over their job.

Still getting to know the office and the staffs.

Daughter's birthday

April 16, 2010 is my daughter's first birthday. My in-laws were coming to my house to celebrate as well, but my daughter was keep on crying.

But anyway, it was a memorable day.

Lifelong learning..

We always hear about life-long learning, but how many of us are really learning ??

Working Attitude

I found that each company got its working culture, and this culture will nurture the working attitude of the employees. More importantly, the working culture will have a deep influence on the employees' working attitude.

Those who worked in a bad environment more or less will learn the bad practice. For instance, back stabbing.

I'm trying to create a cheerful environment for my sub-ordinates. I don't encourage bad stabbing or other bad habits. I personally like to share info and teach others what I know.

My last month in CLSB

After submit my resignation letter, my boss counter offer me with RM400.00 , but i rejected the offer.

Better look for a new job with more security.

Until now, no one is coming to take over my job, most probably the accountant is the one, for temporary. I really don't know how am I going to handle my job to my subordinates. They really dunno much about accounts. Seems really un-fair to them...

Change Job...Again..

After working in Chip Lam Seng Bhd for 4 years++, I decided to leave the company for a more stable future.

Economic condition is forcing CLSB to the edge, financial situation is getting worse in this company. Although been used to the environment here, but I need to plan for my future...my family's future.

My new work will start in May 2010. Just hope that situation is not as bad as I imagine.

After such a long time, I'm writing my blog again..

I joined Chip Lam Seng Bhd after I left Family Products S/B, started work on 22/12/2005.

I got married with Shu Yen (Susan) on 29/11/2009.



















We had a daughter now, name Wong Zi Wen...
